Each box is hand made in the USA , being hand made you will find uniqueness in each box, natural grains and knots in the wood add to the character and creates a one of kind feel for this product! The brass hinge detail on the front of the box adds a sophistication to the beautifully made wooden box. The hinges have 90-degree stop to support the lid and keep it open.

Foot Rest Option
The footrests and handles (wooden or metal) are installed primarily for looks and not intended to be used for carrying. To avoid potential personal injury or damage to the shine box, please use two hands when handling; do not hold using the footrest. Even though, with thousands of boxes sold, we have never had an issue of a foot rest coming off, we do recommend using two hands to carry the box.
Also, we encourage that the metal four leg foot rest be used when the shine box is utilized as a foot stand for shoe shines. Many of our customers use the wooden footrest with no issues. However, we recommend the metal foot rest and hinged box as they offer the best combination of strength and stability.
